One listen to Preston Cooper’s soulful debut single, “Weak,” and it’s obvious he has a lot of varied musical influences. One of those influences was the first concert he ever saw, who planted the seed in Preston of wanting to be on stage.

“So, one of my first concerts, I went to see John Mayer at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio, and that was so impactful on me. I felt like I needed to be up on the stage with him, singing, you know? So, that was super impactful.”
