Tim McGraw loves music and he loves acting because they both challenge him in different ways and give him the opportunity to be creative. But Tim admits there’s one specific thing he gets in music that he doesn’t get in acting, that he sometimes wishes he did.

“They’re are two different animals. I mean they’re cousins for sure, but they’re two different animals. Working in TV and film you just get to work with some great people and learn so much, and when you’re acting opposite these fantastic legendary actors it just makes you better at what you do and you learn. The worst part about it is the waiting. There’s a lot of waiting that goes on, and there’s no instant gratification. It’s hard to know if you’re doing a good job or not because it’s not like people are going to applaud after you do a scene. You know, everybody moves on and you’re leaving going, ‘Was that good? Was that alright? Do I need to do another take?’”
