Rascal Flatts’ Joe Don Rooney has been living sober since September of 2021. In January of 2024 he posted a lengthy message on X about his drinking and his decision to get sober after being arrested for DUI on September 9, 2021. And now that he is back making music and touring with Rascal Flatts, he says sobriety just makes all of it, and every aspect of his life, better.
