current single: “HEAVENS TO BETSY”

Jackson Dean’s latest song, “Heavens to Betsy,” is about a man who was not a great father, who has passed on and is attempting to communicate with his daughter via CB radio from heaven. We wondered if Jackson had ever thought about what his handle would be if he was on CB radio, and it turns out he and his band had come up with a handle for him.

“Funny you asked that. We were talkin’ about this song, and they asked the same exact question, and I was like, ‘I don’t know, man.’ We came up with … one of ‘em was Peacock, somebody else had another one, and then mine was White Tiger. I have this giant blanket with a Siberian tiger on it that I’ve been sleepin’ on for the last four years, and they’re like, ‘There you go, White Tiger.’ So, I’m the White Tiger.”
