Rascal Flatts has extended their Life Is A Highway Tour into 2026, with new dates kicking off on January 15 and running through February 28. The guys reveal thatJay DeMarcus’s wife played a role in getting them back together for the first leg of their Life Is A Highway Tour.

Rascal Flatts – Jay’s wife helped reunion :31

Jay DeMarcus – “Gary and I started textin’ and just kinda checkin’ in with each other, and we had a couple laughs about some memories and reminisced about how we missed playing shows in front of our fans. And that’s kind of what got the discussion started a little bit. And then my wife picked up the phone and called him and said, ‘Gary, you’ve got to get Jay out of the house. He’s driving me berserk.’”

Gary LeVox – “She said, ‘Please take him to Put-in-Bay (in their home state of Ohio), anywhere. Just get him out of here.’”

Jay – “And drop him in the bay.”

Gary – “Yeah. ‘Take him. I don’t know, if you want to bring him back, that’s up to you. But he’s got to get up out of here.’”
