debut single: “WAIT TIL YOU HAVE KIDS”

Greylan James’ debut single, “Wait Til You Have Kids,” was inspired by something his mom would tell him whenever he would call home and talk about how tired or how busy or how spread thin he was. So, after he wrote the song, it was fun to get to play it for the first time for his mom and dad and record their reactions, which he shared on social media when he first released the song.

“It’s one of those songs that, I mean, as soon as I wrote it, I was like, I cannot wait to get home and play it for my parents. That song is just filled with advice that they’ve given me through the years. So, I mean, they still, they’re listening for the radio. It’s my first single going to country radio, so they’re listening out for it. And, I mean, they changed my life, so, I mean, the least I could do is to give them a song and to get to shout them out on social media and show people where I came from.”
