debut single: “WAIT TIL YOU HAVE KIDS”
Greylan James adopted his dog Knox the first day he moved to Nashville, and he has always had a big heart for rescuing animals because of the unconditional love they give, and the ability they have to make a bad day better.
Greylan James – love of animals :33
“My childhood dog, I found him after a tornado, then he showed up at our house. And so, just rescuing dogs and just animals, I’ve always had a connection with them. My parents absolutely raised me to really appreciate the love that animals have for us. It’s unconditional. And moving to Nashville as an 18 year old that had no money moving here, like I was always seeking validation through the music business, but my dog, all his validation was through me. So anytime that I had a bad day, wrote a bad song, came home defeated, he was always just like, ‘Oh my God, dad you’re here!’ So, I think just supporting that love, I mean, I think that animals give that to us every single day, so anytime I can support them and the people that help them out I just love to be a part of it.”
