Justin Moore’s latest single, “Time’s Ticking,” features Dierks Bentley on the album version of the song. While there used to be so much red tape and so many hoops for artists to have to jump through to get another artist to sing on one of their songs, once Justin got over the concern that he might be bothering Dierks, getting him to sing on “Time’s Ticking” was as easy as shooting him a text message.

“I could literally hear Dierks singin’ while I was writin’ the song, him singin’ it. It just sounded like him to me. And so, I text him. I said, ‘Man…’ I’m very bad at askin’ favors. I always feel as though I’m bothering people. Maybe that’s not the case but that’s the way I feel. And so, I texted Dierks and go, ‘Man, I hate to bug you, but I had this song.’ So, he texts me right back and said, ‘Man, I’d be honored. Let’s do it.’”
