CURRENT SINGLE: “It’s Cause I Am”
Callista Clark was brought up listening to and performing classic country, rock and R&B, which is why she often posts videos of herself singing covers from people like Aretha Franklin, The Judds or the one that got her a record deal, Credence Clearwater Revival. So, when one of the legends she covered wanted to meet her, Callista’s mind was blown.
Callista had posted a cover of herself singing a Randy Travis song, and his wife, Mary Travis, saw the cover and commented. Then at the 2019 CMA Awards after party, Callista says it was the most surreal moment of her life when Mary spotted her, “And she said, ‘Randy wants to meet you.’ And I was like, ‘What?!’”
Knowing what a legend Randy is and what a huge honor it was that he would request to meet her, Callista says, “I was so nervous and everyone was crying. I don’t know how I didn’t cry. It was a crazy moment, but definitely starstruck for that one.”

“Okay, so, when I met Randy Travis at the CMA‘s in 2019, that was the first time when anyone ever requested to meet me, and that was the most surreal moment of my life. So, I had posted a video of me singing a song of his, and his wife saw it and commented. And then she saw me at the CMA‘s after party with Big Machine and she said, ‘Randy wants to meet you.’ And I was like, ‘What?!’ But I was so nervous and everyone was crying. I don’t know how I didn’t cry. It was a crazy moment, but definitely starstruck for that one.”
