CURRENT SINGLE: “Old School’s In”
Heath Sanders’ music career really got a jump start when he posted a video of himself on YouTube singing Chris Stapleton’s “Either Way.” When Heath first started posting videos of himself online, it was just to share his songs with family and friends, and he says, “that was back when, you know, I had 300 people on Facebook, and that was basically it.”
But then Heath’s hours at the oil field got cut and he says, “That really incentivized me to build a Facebook page. I mean, if you’re gonna go out and you’re gonna play, you build a Facebook page and get goin’. And so, that’s when it became more, is when I actually started trying to pursue this thing and tryin’ to put it out there.”
Looking at where that one video in particular has taken Heath so far, he says, “It’s amazing, the power of social media these days.”

“It was really family and friends. I’d learn a song and just stick it out there for my mom or my family to hear, or whatever. But that was back when, you know, I had 300 people on Facebook, you know, and that was basically it. And when they cut our hours and stuff, that really incentivized me to build a Facebook page. I mean, if you’re gonna go out and you’re gonna play, you build a Facebook page and get goin’. And so that’s when it became more, is when I actually started trying to pursue this thing and tryin’ to put it out there. It’s amazing, the power of social media these days.”
