Steven Tyler has been doing a lot of songwriting for his debut country album and he says his approach has really been to keep it simple. “I’m kinda geared up, all these years, and Aerosmith has taught me a good lesson where simplicity, a good song, truth, four chords and the truth, as they say Country is, I’m all about it,” says Steven. “I love to come up with something that somebody hears and cannot get out of their head.”
Steven has also enjoyed the collaborative process of writing in Nashville and he has plenty of great artist writers he would like to work with like Zac Brown and Jaren Johnston of The Cadillac Three. Considering he’s Steven Tyler, and they’re both under his same record label umbrella, chances are good he’ll be able to make that happen.
