When it comes to verbally communicating his feelings and being romantic, Cody Cooper of Waterloo Revival admits he may not be the best at it, but he says, “It all comes across in our song-writing and (my girlfriend’s) definitely been an inspiration for a lot of the songs, and I know she knows that and she appreciates it and realizes that whenever she listens to the music.”
Cody says the ability to express himself through music is one of the reasons he started writing songs, “as a means to express feelings and all of that and it’s been very therapeutic and great for people like me that could probably use some work in the romantic department for sure.”
Perhaps Waterloo Revival’s songs and their songwriting can help other guys who need a little help in the romance department.

Waterloo Revival – romance help Cody :57
Cody Cooper – “I would like to think of myself as a romantic. If you were to ask my girlfriend, she would probably tell you that I could use some work in that department. I’ve known her since middle school, actually, and I’m not necessarily always the best in verbal conversations about expressing sentimental feelings, and all that, but it all comes across in our song-writing and she’s definitely been an inspiration for a lot of the songs, and I know she knows that and she appreciates it and realizes that whenever she listens to the music. So, really, music’s pretty much been my main outlet for being a romantic and communicating feelings, and all that, and that’s part of the reason I got into song-writing to begin with is as a means to express feelings and all of that and it’s been very therapeutic and great for people like me that could probably use some work in the romantic department for sure.”
