Thomas Rhett’s new single, “Crash and Burn,” is already in the top 30 and continuing to climb on the charts. It’s the follow-up to his #1 song, “Make Me Wanna,” which had him showing off some pretty slick dance moves in the video. While Thomas wouldn’t consider himself an expert dancer by any stretch of the imagination, he says if the producers of the reality TV show Dancing with the Stars ever approached him about being on the show, he would be open to it.

Thomas says, “Maybe I could learn with a lot of practice, how to dance as good as those people do on that show, but I think it’d be a fun experience. If I got somebody that worked well with me and knew that I’m not much of a ballroom dancer, or a waltzer, I think it’d be a lot a fun to do the show. If I ever got asked, yeah, I think I would definitely do it.”

So if anybody from Dancing with the Stars is listening, you may want to have your people contact Thomas’ people. We have a feeling he’d do very well on the show between his own dance abilities and the support of country music fans who watch the show.

Thomas Rhett scored a 2015 CMT Music Award nomination last week along with Brantley Gilbert and Justin Moore for the collaboration video “Small Town Throwdown.” On Saturday (5/23), Rhett plays a show at the Indianapolis Speedway.
