(AUDIO) George Birge of Waterloo Revival Is A Hopeless Golfer

Waterloo Revival is currently climbing the charts with their debut single, “Hit the Road,” but George Birge admits that before he decided on music as a career, he had aspirations of being a PGA golfer. “I am a hopelessly addicted golfer,” says George. “I walked onto the golf team in college with full aspirations of becoming a PGA Tour golfer.”

Unfortunately, George spent more time warming the bench on the golf team than he did actually golfing, and he says, “I realized that might not be the path for me, but just about every weekend you can still catch me out on the golf course. My wife thinks I’m crazy. I’ll be out there when it’s 30 degrees outside with a space heater in the golf cart, but I’m still out there playin’ as much as I can.”

You can catch Waterloo Revival on the road this summer, promoting “Hit the Road.” See all of their tour dates here.
